WHO WE ARE

Kids Place Lex is a nonprofit arts education organization based in Lexington, Kentucky, operating from a dedicated classroom inside Gallery 645 at 190 Jefferson Street in the heart of downtown Lexington. We provide free, high-quality curriculum-based arts education to children in the foster care system and other at-risk children in Fayette and surrounding counties.

We believe that making art is not a luxury. It is a pathway to confidence, identity and belonging—and every child in difficult situations deserves access to itl.
